Nostalgia. A fleeting feeling that consists of longing for the past. Trinkets in our lives are small reminders of certain instances we’ve faced as well as properties that make us who we are. A collage or mosaic if you will. Nostalgia, a complex emotion is bittersweet. As us high schoolers are growing older and reminiscing about how care-free life was when all we had to do was watch YouTube. When these YouTubers were at their peak, they played a role in the different interests and our personalities that make us who we are today.
Markiplier
A YouTuber well known for his gaming videos and is adored by many. The videos of him playing popular horror game, Five Nights at Freddy’s garnered over 30 million subscribers. Overall, Markiplier’s goofy attitude and fun personality makes him a very enduring person.
Maya Winkey ASMR
Maya Winkey’s pizzaz adds a whole new twist to the usual ASMR videos that you’d see popping up on your feed. Each of her videos are always different from others, making her style authentic and memorable. All in all, Maya Winkey inspires many and shows that not everything needs to be super serious.

Everyone loves a challenge, right? Sis vs Bro offers a cluster of humorous skits and challenges. Karina and Ronald both add dynamism and structure to the typical YouTube challenge genre. Like Emirichu, Jaiden shares her first hand encounters through fun animations and silly cartoons. On the whole, Jaiden’s videos encompass the happiness of childhood experiences that many relate and laugh to.
