~ It All Lies in the Pouch ~
From the smooth glide of a favorite pen to the comforting, delicate hues of pastel markers, the subject of stationeries appreciates the beauty of creation in its simplest form. Each item organized neatly into a pouch holds the future of new ideas and moments of focus. Whether it’s the edge of a notebook or the shimmer of washi tape, these tools change ordinary tasks into something meaningful, turning writing and drawing into an art of their own.

“Convenience comes first!!! I used to own this one gigantic pencil pouch and I hated how bulky and heavy it was in my bag since I barely even use half of the stuff in it. Now I separate them and I own 3 (5 in reality) different pencil pouches and I usually only carry one (the black one with mechanical pencils and pens) with me daily and the other two are usually left in my drawing locker/home until I need it. Every pencil pouch has its own uses and I like to keep them separated too so nothing gets too cluttered or too unnecessarily heavy/bulky.
The reason why I also use only black pencil pouches are because they dint get dirty as fast (considering i carry graphite and charcoal pencils) PLUS they were also cheap at Hobby Lobby.
Theres no reason to go out of my way to get the pouches for $10 that are pastel colored and risks the ink/charcoal spilling and ruining it when I know the environment that I work in and Hobby Lobby has them for $2.50. So everything just boils down to my convenience that also saves me money in the long term. (The snoopy pouch was also a gift thats why its the only colorful one)”

My pencil case has a lot of practicality and personality. I wanted it to feel like an organized little space that still shows me as a person. When putting it together, I started with the essentials: pens that write smoothly, a reliable mechanical pencil, and a highlighter that make my notes cute without being too bright. From there, I added things that make studying or sketching feel more enjoyable, like a cute eraser. I also thought about balance, keeping it compact enough to carry everywhere but still full of things that shows creativity. In a way, my pencil case feels like a reflection of my process: thoughtful and creative, where everything inside has its purpose.
